Yes.  You can still apply for and receive the LSA Certification. However, you need to provide proof of the course completion.

Yes. You must take the course first, complete all the assignments, quizzes, and final assignments if applicable, and only then can you apply for the certification.  

Sure. Please watch the video on the button of this page that explains the basic certification requirements. If there is something specific to your program certification, we will let you know. Please keep in mind that the LSA has a right to change the requirements at any time. 

Yes. You will be assigned a DTA -  Dedicated Teaching Assistant that will walk you through the process and provide help and certification coaching if necessary.  

Yes. To receive Designated Certification and attend the program, you have to exhibit your knowledge by presenting your final project. You will have a dedicated Teaching Assistant to guide you through the entire process from beginning to end.  The teaching Assistant will provide you the necessary tools to help you create your final project and prepare you for the exam if necessary.  Your trainer will review the project and provide additional feedback/feedforward.  By the end of this process, you will walk away with your own published product.

Great question.  If you do not need to present your professional credibility to others (clients, auditors, employer, business network, regulators, and others), then a free Certificate of Attendance is just what you need.  In fact, you already received it from the platform you are taking the course.  As a professional courtesy, if you would like us to issue you another certificate of attendance, we will be more than happy to do that. 

If you are planning to display your credibility, you need to look into Basic, Professional, or Premium Package. 

Even though you did not complete the program on our platform, in addition to the platform pamphlet, we will provide you a complimentary "Certificate of Attendance." 

Please be aware that this free Certificate of Attendance does not provide Evidence of Learning. It is not verifiable by the LSA. It does not include CPD/CE Credit Hours, and it does not come with any marketing material such as Certification Seals and Badges. Why?  For us to provide you an Evidence of Learning and Continued Professional Development Hours / Continued Education Hours (CPD / CE Credits), you have to complete the certification process by taking the exam and/or providing your final project based on the LSA and CPD Certification Requirement Standards (CRQ).   When you apply for the Basic, Professional, or Premium Package, LSA will verify course learning and knowledge application eligibility and give you an Exam and/or Final Project. Once you pass the Final Exam, the LSA will provide you a Certified Designation (i.e., Certified Positive Psychology Coach, CPPC).

CPD research confirmed that anyone hoping to get promoted or specialize in a different area, demonstrating their learning agility and dedication to CPD / CE, can make a substantive difference. In real terms, this means that the Accredited Certificate contributes to achieving higher salaries.

For employees, CPD / CE  helps them keep their knowledge and skills up-to-date. It also ensures that the professional standard of their qualifications and registrations is maintained. Furthermore, it contributes to their professional sense of direction. Completing CPD / CE helps build their confidence and credibility, allows them to showcase their achievements, and equips them with tools to cope positively with change.

Within different regions, there can be different terminology used.  For example, CPD can be known as Continuing Education (CE) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE).  It is important to note that these terms are completely interchangeable with CPD and are focused on a structured approach to lifelong learning.

Within the United States of America, slightly different language is used to describe the practice of CPD.

Commonly known instead as ‘CE’ Continuing Education, the term is regularly adjusted to describe different disciplines.  CLE – Continuing Legal Education, CME – Continuing Medical Education, or CPD – Continuing Professional Education.

Despite different terminologies, it is important to remember that CPD and CE are the same things – simply a formal approach to lifelong learning. Individuals record training and learning undertaken within the workplace that keeps their professional qualifications up to date.

Like the UK, there are stringent requirements for professionals to undertake CE within different sectors, with over 4000 professional bodies, institutes, and regulators across all 50 states.  

It is a rather complex area as each of the 50 states has its own legislation and corresponding CE requirements for ‘regulated sectors,’ including medicine, accountancy, law, or construction. 

For example, lawyers in Alaska have to undertake 4 hours of CPD/CE a year, whereas lawyers in Ohio have to undertake 24 hours of CPD/CE over 2 years.

In addition to state regulation, there are also national professional bodies and regulators for professions such as teaching or banking, which place further compliance-based policy/requirements on professionals in these sectors. 

Some larger companies recognizing the CPD Credits are Google, Columbia Business School in New York., Rosetta Stone, Pinnacle Performance, to name a few.

There is a rising demand for CPD within the Middle East, as, over the past decade, this region has seen an increased focus on its standards. 

Formal CPD Accredited certificates are issued and accepted in a multitude of countries and across all professional sectors,

The CPD Accredited Group supports all CE, CLE, and CME policies associated with US professional bodies, regulators, and societies. 

As the English language describing CPD and or CE is “interchangeable,” therefore so are the attendance certificates and logos, and this is a benefit for providers delivering in this region:

For example, a UK doctor and a US doctor attending the same CPD Standards accredited event in Chicago could use the CPD Certificate within their respective CPD and CE records.

Hence CPD Accreditation Group accredited CPD activities. Their corresponding certificates are acceptable by the US and other international professional bodies as appropriate for use within a professional's CPD or CE record.   Dependent on the professional body and sector, it will depend on the exact CPD policy and requirements. Still, broadly an individual is expected to do several CPD/CE hours per annum.  These are expected to be sourced from various training and learning situations, and the CPD Standards CPD Certificates are generally used within the ‘independently’ sought section of a CPD / CE record*.
